The music of Godfire describes and portrays a different kind of Christianity—an "empowered Christianity", inspired by the vision and teachings of Dr. Chuck Pierce, Dr. Robert Heidler and other prophetic voices from Glory-of-Zion International Ministries.

Upon relocating to the Gulf Coast, Godfire found new friends at The Fellowship in Texas City, and now perform weekly with the Fellowship Worship Team, while still staying closely connected with their mentors at Glory-of-Zion International in Denton, TX.

In the changing world of today, we must be ready to move quickly and advance with power. Sound produces movement. I am excited about this new CD from Godfire. Exousia is a collection of music and sound perfect for the days ahead. Steve and Mikayla endured the fury of Hurricane Ike—which nearly destroyed the city of Galveston—during the recording of this CD. Therefore, these songs accurately reflect the turbulent and challenging times that we face today.


The song Get Up and Walk calls us to a supernatural level of faith and healing, while the title track Exousia tells us how to walk in authoritative power as divine agents of God’s will. In the song God Is Alive, we’re confronted by an atheist and a “no prayer” high-school principal, yet we stand and declare that “God is Alive” and that “His Power won’t be denied”.

This collection also includes gentle, worshipful music such as Be Free and Waterfall—while also containing several energetic and joyful songs like Blessings Of Your Love and Not By Strength. LeAnn Squier (Steve's sister) also performs several songs on this CD, including the lively track  "My God Is Able". As longstanding members of Glory of Zion, the band Godfire has created an album that reflects this ministry and vision in a distinctly unique way... May you walk in Exousia!
